The Big gig 2026

Get ready for the biggest event in the KitchenJam calendar.


On Saturday 26th September 2026, KitchenJam students will take over Soul Mama Islington for our annual Big Gig, an afternoon of live music and one of the highlights of the year.

Our students will be taking to the stage with a live backing band, playing to a room full of friends, family and fellow students. There’ll be first-time performers alongside familiar faces coming back for another year.

The Big Gig is a big part of what KitchenJam is about: playing live, sharing music and bringing people together.

Soul Mama’s Caribbean-inspired menu will be available during the show, so you can order food to your table and enjoy the performances while you eat.
