oUT OF THE STUDIO,

ONTO THE STAGE

KitchenJam gigs are about taking the music out of the studio and onto the stage. A chance to play live, share the music, and experience performing as part of something bigger.

Three times a year, we host a KitchenJam Open Mic to give our students a chance to perform any song of their choice and bring what they've been practising in lessons onto the stage.

Students can choose to form groups with other KJ players, perform with support from KitchenJam teachers, or go solo.

Our Open Mics performance slots are reserved for our students, but the public is welcome to attend and show support.

Get ready for the main event. KitchenJam's annual Big Gig is the highlight of the year. Our students step up to the mic in a real live music venue and perform accompanied by a backing band of accomplished musicians.

With friends, family and fellow students filling the audience, the Big Gig is the perfect example of what KitchenJam is all about — playing and sharing music with the community around you.

While attendance is open to the public, the KitchenJam Open Mics and Big Gigs are exclusive events for KitchenJam students to perform at.
